An independent expert in blockchain forensics, digital-asset markets and cryptography, with 26 years spanning senior trading-technology roles on Wall Street and the first generation of blockchain analytics.
As Head of Digital Assets Research at Ciphertrace — one of the two firms that pioneered blockchain analytics — Alexander oversaw development of the heuristic tracing engines and wallet-attribution methodologies now relied upon as industry standards. He later served as Head of Research at Elementus and Head of DeFi at JST Capital, and spent 18 years in institutional trading technology, most recently at J.P. Morgan.
